The second reading of an ordinance relating to fees and regulations for food trucks at city events took place at the Elizabethtown City Council last night. The ordinance dictates that trucks setting up must pay a $250 fee to do so. Also noted at the meeting were exemptions that could excuse trucks from the fees, including one time set-ups. The public is invited to a special memorial event at Freeman Lake next Tuesday, November 12th at 4 PM. There will be a bench dedicated near the Lions Pavilion to Subash Ghale, who was shot and killed at the Elizabethtown T-Mart earlier this year. The event will provide refreshments and domestic violence information from Springhaven.

Fort Knox will be holding a Turkey Shoot Golf Scramble this weekend as golf season is coming to a close. The start of the event is Saturday at 10 AM. Cost is $35 for non-members and $25 for members. Registration is due by Friday, November 8th. More information can be found at knox.armymwr.com.
