The Lincoln Trail Area Development District is seeking the public’s input on a compatible use plan study for Fort Knox and surrounding communities. The goal is to ensure sustainability, both local and regional, between the Fort Knox military installation, private citizens, and local and state government. This study will include the counties of Hardin, Nelson, Meade, and Bullitt, and will also include evaluation of military issues that interfere with daily civilian life, as well as civilian development that may hinder military missions at Fort Knox. For more information, go to missionknox.org or visit the Mission Knox Facebook page.
