Helping Hand of Hope in conjunction with the Lincoln Trail District Health Department will be having a vaccination clinic on May 4th. This will be a drive thru clinic at their location at 6796 South Wilson Road in Elizabethtown, Appointments are required, call 270-1601 to register.

There are still appointments available for The Lincoln Trail District Health Departments clinic in Hardin County tomorrow for the Johnson and Johnson vaccine for anyone 18 and older. Call 270-769-1601 to register or visit their website at ltdhd.org to register online.

Hardin County Performing Arts Center is still plugging along with some great activities and entertainment opportunities for those interested in the arts. The Pac will be offering a dance initiative for gifted and talented students in Hardin County Schools, the PAC will also be offering Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet on demand. They will also be taking auditions for their production of The Addams Family. The PAC has been open since November with limited activity.

The Leitchfield Police Department has found a new home. After a little over a year of construction and preparation they opened at their new location at 515 South Main Street in Leitchfield this week. They had been at their other location since 1991.

Governor Andy Beshear and Labor Cabinet Secretary Larry Roberts announced today that in person unemployment insurance services will open April 15 at more than a dozen regional Kentucky Career Centers (KCCs) including one at 233 Ring Road in Elizabethtown. KCC staff will be available for in person assistance by appointment only. Kentuckians can begin scheduling Monday through Friday appointments at kcc.ky.gov.
