A Vehicle License Plate Attached with an Eye Bolt Led to Several Arrests in Nelson County

Nelson county sheriff Ramon Pineiroa says that Deputy Aubrey was conducting another investigation, when he noticed a Honda Civic with Ohio license plates being held on with eye bolts.

The car was identified to be stolen out of Ohio during a traffic stop, a subsequent investigation revealed that half an ounce of meth was in the hotel that they were staying at.

The vehicle was occupied by Matthew Jones and Summer Lowery of Ohio. Both are being lodged in the Nelson County jail on multiple charges. The investigation is still ongoing.
