Feeding America Collecting Items for Tornado Victims

Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland is collecting items for those affected by the Tornados. This organization serves 42 counties, including Graves County. Their second distribution center in Mayfield was completely destroyed after the tornado that hit over the weekend.

“We have plenty of food. If people want to help, we need water, hand sanitizer, laundry soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, diapers, toilet paper, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, baby wipes, soap, razors, gloves, shampoo, cleaning supplies, spray sanitizer, buckets, and sponges,” stated Executive Director Jamie Sizemore. Items being donated can be dropped off at the Volunteer Center located at 300 Peterson Drive in Elizabethtown.
