Radcliff Cultural Festival set for Saturday

The City of Radcliff will celebrate the international community during the Radcliff Cultural Festival, taking place Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m. outside Radcliff City Hall. Radcliff Resident Pete Countryman said during Tuesday’s city council meeting that the event is a celebration of the different backgrounds that make up the Radcliff and Hardin County community. “This year we have a great variety of vendors,” Countryman said. “The focus is mainly on local residents and quality products, handcrafted, and our food trucks that we’ll feature in the Taste of the World International Food Court are Germany, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Mediterranean, and an All-American food truck.” The event coincides with the Radcliff Days Parade, which will roll down West Lincoln Trail Boulevard beginning at 5 p.m., and will feature a special presentation at 6 p.m. “The City of Radcliff will be making a presentation, appropriately in this year of the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence and 70th anniversary of our incorporation as a city, to honor our military heroes,” Countryman said.
