After separating and filing for divorce in September 2025, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are living separately in Nashville and co-parenting under a detailed agreement. A Nashville judge finalized their divorce in January 2026. The arrangement is based on court-file details reported by the Associated Press and other outlets. Neither has publicly commented on the split.

Per their agreement, Kidman has principal physical custody of their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, for 306 days each year, while Urban has custody for 59 days annually. The schedule places the girls with Kidman Monday through Saturday, with Urban’s time on Sundays and every other weekend, plus a rotating holiday calendar. Both parents share major decision-making and agreed not to disparage one another to their children, according to the report.

Both remain based in Nashville, with multiple reports noting that Kidman and the couple’s daughters continue to live at the family’s primary residence there, while Urban maintains a separate home in the city. Financially, neither former spouse pays alimony or support, and each retains the assets held in their own names from before and during the marriage, per the agreement cited. Earlier tabloid speculation tying either to new relationships has not been substantiated, and in at least one instance was publicly denied on social media by a person named in the rumors.

For country listeners, the clarity matters: Urban’s residence and parenting schedule suggest he remains Nashville-centered while balancing family commitments with recording and touring. Publicly, the former couple signaled a cooperative tone this past summer, as Urban shared a birthday message to Kidman in June and she acknowledged him for Father’s Day one day later. As both continue their work—Urban as one of country’s core touring and recording figures, Kidman in film and television—the defined co-parenting arrangement provides stability around which Urban can plan future releases and live appearances.
