E-Town council reviews sewer ordinances

The Elizabethtown City Council met for their first meeting of the month Monday. The council approved an ordinance on second reading that repeals and replaces the city’s sewer rates ordinance. The residential rate will increase to $14.46 for the first 2,000 gallons beginning July 1 this year, then will increase year-to-year, eventually landing at $19.52 for the first 2,000 gallons in 2028.
