The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education says a new report indicates six out of 10 undergraduate students in Kentucky are graduating debt-free, up from four out of 10 students during the 2019-2020 academic year. WULF News One dead after fire in Upton The cause of a fatal fire in Upton Saturday morning is under investigation. Upton Fire and Rescue says units were dispatched following the report of a residential camper fire in the 14700 block of South Dixie Highway in Upton at approximately 8:45 a.m. on January 31. WULF News December unemployment in Kentucky sees slight decrease December unemployment in Kentucky is down slightly from the previous month and year. The Kentucky Center for Statistics says the state unemployment average for December was 4.5 percent. That is down from the 4.7 percent average reported in November, and down .8 percent from the December 2024 average of 5.3 percent.
