March unemployment in Kentucky is down slightly from the previous year. The Kentucky Center for Statistics says the state unemployment average for March was 4.2 percent. That is the same as the average reported in February, and down .5 percent from the March 2025 average of 4.7 percent. Governor Andy Beshear highlighted a company expanding operations in Bullitt County during his Team Kentucky Update Thursday.
