Country Music Superstars Luke Combs and Eric Church were presented with the Humanitarian of the Year award at this year’s Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, Tennessee. The award comes after the stars’ collaborative effort to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Helene in thier homestate of North Carolina.

“Me and Eric are both from that region of North Carolina that was impacted. [After] that moment we got on the phone to put this show together, there wasn’t a thought that we weren’t gonna do this and that it’s gonna be something that defines my career and probably [Eric’s] too,” Combs says after accepting the award.

All proceeds from their sold out concert went directly to vitcims through charities they had started. In addition to that, all the proceeds from Eric’s latest single, “Darkest Hour (Helene Edition)” went to those families impacted through his Chief Cares Foundation.
