The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is celebrating a record-breaking academic year. The KCTCS says the preliminary data shows the 2024-2025 academic year produced the highest number of credentials and graduates since the system’s founding in 1997. Kentucky’s unemployment rate in May was mostly in line with where it was the year prior. The Kentucky Center for Statistics says the state unemployment average for May was 5 percent.
