Lawn Party at the Lake concert Wednesday evening free to attend

Delayed a week due to the rain, Freeman Lake Park is ready to host the August Lawn Party at the Lake Concert Series event Wednesday evening.

“We’ll have Last Call,” said Elizabethtown Events Program Manager Beth Pyles. “They are a local, regional favorite with some guys here from our area, and they always put on a good show so we’re excited to welcome them to the bandstand.”

Parking opens at the park at 5:30 p.m., with the band taking the stage at 6:30. Seating is festival-style, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets.

“We’ll have some food vendors on site and some of your favorite adult beverages that can be purchased,” Pyles said. “It’s just a wonderful atmosphere. The lake is such a beautiful place, so we’re expecting a lot of folks to join us and a lot of fun to be had.”
