Organizations teaming up to kick off Walk Grayson initiative in Leitchfield

Grayson County residents looking for a fun way to get active are invited to come out on September 15 for the kickoff of the Walk Grayson initiative. “This is the first of its kind,” said CommuniCare Certified Prevention Specialist Andrea Sheroan. “It’s an initiative to just kind of promote health. It’s really cool and an interesting concept. It’s being led by the Owensboro Twin Lakes team in partnership with a bunch of other community partners.” The event will be held Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at James D. Beville Park in Leitchfield. All are welcome to attend. “They can come and join a walk, and then afterwards there’s going to be popcorn and other free refreshments,” Sheroan said.
