Thank you all for signing up to be a part of the Sportsplex Spooktacular!

The event is at the Bluegrass Sportsplex at 208 Peterson Drive, E-town on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm. Please register by noon Wednesday, October 28th.

Set up begins at 10:00 am and must be completed by 11:30 am. Anyone not in the Sportsplex by 11:30 am will not be allowed to set up. All booths must be ready to go when doors open at 12:00 pm. Tables will be assigned before your arrival that day.

No one will be allowed to come in from the front entrances. You will enter through the right side of the building behind Crossfit. You can temporarily park in the smaller parking lot on the right side to unload your cars and enter through one of the garage doors that will be open. Once you have unpacked your vehicle, you will need to move your car to the gravel parking lot in the very back of the complex (near the batting cages).

Parking for booth participants is required in the back, behind the building–we need to keep the main lot available for attendees. Once the event is over you can drive over to the side lot again to load up. We strongly suggest bringing a cart to transport your candy and decor to your table. Please be aware handicap parking is extremely limited.

We ask that everyone bring at least 6,000 pieces of candy (NO gum is allowed to be passed out).

If you have a game, you can set up in another area, but please let us know ahead of time. We love booths to dress up and decorate. Please, nothing gory or vulgar. Each sponsor will be assigned a table (approximately 6’ x 30”) with two chairs. The tables will be ready; however, any booth preparation is up to each sponsor. Also, there is limited (possibly no) availability for electricity, in addition to the safety aspect of cords being a trip hazard, so please keep this in mind when designing your booth.

Please hand out your candy instead of allowing trick or treaters to pick so the line continues to flow. Absolutely no sign-ups or games at candy booths! If you have photo opportunities or anything else that will slow the line, you will either be at the end of the line or in the inflatables area so we can keep the line moving.

The doors will close at 3:00 pm. Please stay until the last kids go through your part of the line before breaking down.

IMPORTANT NOTES TO REMEMBER:

  • No one will be allowed to enter through the front.
  • Anyone not in the Sportsplex by 11:30 am will not be allowed to set up.
  • All booths must be ready to go when doors open at 12:00.
  • No gum.
  • No glitter.
  • No sign-ups, games or photo opportunities at booths–nothing to slow the line.
  • Each table has TWO chairs – booth prep is up to the sponsor.
  • Electricity will not be available.
  • No leaving early.

USDA offering emergency loans for farms impacted by summer drought

An emergency designation from the United States Department of Agriculture means emergency support is available for farmers impacted by severe drought. The USDA issued the natural disaster designation for counties that suffered from a drought intensity value during the growing season of D2 (Severe) for eight or more consecutive weeks or D3 (Extreme) or D4 (Exceptional). Primary counties eligible include Breckinridge, Hardin, Hart, LaRue, and Nelson. Contiguous counties that are […]
