Get a chance at a prize and get outside with Freeman Lake Park scavenger hunt
If you are looking for more outdoor activities to do with the kids this spring, the City of Elizabethtown has an event you won’t want to run “afowl” of.
The Silly Goose on the Loose Scavenger Hunt has returned to Freeman Lake Park, and will run there now through May 3.
According to the E-Town Events team, the family-friendly scavenger hunt is free and open to all ages. Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the Freeman Lake Park office or download it from www.etownevents.com.
Participants will follow the clues to locate and identify the ten silly geese hidden throughout the park. Once you have found all ten geese, return your completed sheet to the park office. All participants who complete the scavenger hunt will receive a goody bag and will be entered for a chance to win the Park Silly Goose Prize Basket, which will be drawn for on May 4.
E-Town Events says this is the first themed scavenger hunt of four planned for Freeman Lake Park. Check back later in the year for pirate, bug, and pumpkin-themed park adventures.
