8/5/21 Brandenburg, KY – Brandenburg Police received a call about 5:00 this morning from the Coast Guard stating that a body was spotted in the Ohio River by a barge.
Police Chief Brian Hagg says crews responded to the scene and located the body. During the recovery, a second body was discovered. Chief Hagg said they were assisted by other local agencies in Meade County as well as Indiana Fish & Wildlife. Autopsies are scheduled for tomorrow. No other details have been released.
