The American Red Cross is experiencing an emergency blood and platelet shortage. The national Red Cross blood inventory is the lowest it has been at this time of the year since 2015, with less than a day’s supply of certain blood types in recent weeks.
The Pritchard Community Center in Elizabethtown will host a blood drive this Wednesday, September 29th from 12 to 5. You can help by making an appointment to donate at RedCrossBlood.org.
