On Friday, the CASA of the Heartland was awarded the Kentucky CASA Network Program of the Year at the conclusion of Kentucky CASA week.
Their recruits work to train and support volunteers in the community who stand up for abused and neglected children within the family court system.
CASA of the Heartland serves children in Hardin County and Fort Knox. It is one out of 24 current programs across the state.
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer can attend the next virtual class beginning November 4th. Any questions can be emailed to CASAstaff@Heartland.CASAHeartland.org.
