Hardin County Fiscal Court holds second November meeting

The Hardin County Fiscal Court met for their second meeting of the month Tuesday.

Hardin County E-911 Director Mike Leo gave the October activity report for the county’s dispatch center.

“911 calls answered: 4,449,” Leo said. “10,194 CAD reports created, we answered 4,608 administrative calls, dispatched 1,354 EMS runs and 411 fire runs, and handled 2,502 attempt-to-serve, prison transport, and traffic stop-type calls.”

Hardin County Attorney Jenny Oldham thanked the county employees and officials along with members of the public that reached out to her office to offer their condolences for longtime employee Allison Pike, who died Sunday at the age of 36.

“She came to the county attorney’s office actually 15 years ago just to hang out until she found her job in agriculture, so in her degree, so I’m glad she stayed, and then 10 years ago she became the office manager and administrative assistant,” Oldham said. “It’s a huge loss for our office, and for me personally.”

The Hardin County Fiscal Court will next meet December 10.
